Timothée Chalamet y Joel Edgerton son recibidos como reyes en «Festival de Cine de Venecia»
El actor franco-estadounidense Timothée Chalamet asistió al estreno de su más reciente película The King, en el Festival de Cine de Venecia, en la que interpreta al Rey Enrique V junto a un reparto encabezado por Joel Edgerton, Sean Harris, Lily-Rose Depp, Robert Pattinson y Ben Mendelsohn.
“Lo más emocionante de este proyecto es que fue un verdadero desafío para mí. Fue aterrador al mismo tiempo, pero la pasé de maravilla”, aseguró Chalamet durante la rueda de prensa previa al estreno de la cinta.

La cinta dirigida por David Michôd narra la historia de Hal, un príncipe descarriado que asciende al trono inglés tras la muerte de su padre, heredando no solo el trono sino la guerra y el caos, por lo que debe equilibrar los conflictos políticos y la conflagración.
«Nunca pensé en rodar una película ambientada en la Edad Media cuando me pidieron trabajar en el Enrico V de William Shakespeare. Una vez dentro del proyecto, fue emocionante», dijo el cineasta Michôd.
The King llegará a Netflix el próximo 1º de noviembre.
