La noche del domingo se llevó a cabo la ceremonia de la entrega de los «Billboard Music Awards 2019» en el MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas.
La presentación estuvo a cargo de la cantante Kelly Clarkson y entre los números musicales destacó el de la cantante Halsey con su presentación del tema «Without Me», el opening a cargo de Taylor Swift y la ovacionada actuación de Madonna y Maluma con su reciente éxito «Medellín».

El gran premio de la noche se lo llevó a casa el rapero canadiense Drake como «Mejor Artista», convirtiéndose en el artista que más premios ha ganado en la historia de los BBMAs, sumando 12 galardones y 27 a lo largo de toda su carrera.
