La noche del viernes 13 de septiembre, se celebró en el Avalon Theater de Hollywood, California (EEUU) la ceremonia de la 45ª edición de los premios Saturn Awards. Estos premios, son otorgados por la Academia de Ciencia Ficción, Fantasía y Películas de terror para honrar a lo mejor en cine y televisión de ciencia ficción, fantasía y terror y otros géneros
Las nominaciones fueron anunciadas el 16 de julio de 2019 y abarcan todos los géneros que fueron expuestos desde el 1 de marzo de 2018 hasta el 7 de julio de 2019
La ganadora absoluta de la noche fue la película ‘Avengers: Endgame’ con 6 premios a Mejor Actor – Robert Downey Jr, mejor maquillaje, mejores efectos especiales, mejor edición, mejor diseño de producción y mejor adaptación Comic a Película.
También resaltaron Game of Thrones con 6 premios y The Walking Dead con 3 premios.
